It doesnt matter what you post about Crutch, people will believwe what they want to believe. Even when LF becomes a Tiger, they will just say Crutch didnt have any say so.
LMAO that BSylve will get processed. He might not become a starter, but he isnt going anywhere.

Poll the nation, you'll see who people perceive to be the better program.
And guess what, perception is reality.
I don't understand you people upset with a coach here.

I doubt that, given how you seem to never grow tired of pointing out it to LSU fans that have the audacity to think they have an great program.
Whether it's because you have extreme Bama envy, are just a troll that likes to smear you own team in order to rile up people on a message board or are just the latest in a long line of self loathing LSU fans that love to put down LSU, I don't know.
Saying Alabama is a better program than LSU is like arguing over who is the hottest chick in the swimsuit issue. It really doesn't matter. The fact that they have won more NC more recently doesn't mean they will going forward and it certainly doesn't mean a player is more likely to get to the NFL or be better prepared for the NFL. In short, Alabama offers nothing LSU can not, except to people like you that are more concerned with meaningless rankings like which coach ranks higher on a list.

if you don't understand why people would be upset with a coach allgedly steering kids away from the in state program to a division rival because that rival ranks as a "better" program according to a national poll than you are either the worst troll in TD history or completely devoid of any common sense.
The issue is not what is the "better" program at the moment. That's the trouble with judging everything based on the BCS CG. The difference between LSU and Alabama right now are marginal and not significant. This is not 1990 when going to Miami, Florida State, Michigan etc where significantly better options than LSU.
That is not the case any more. Why you can't see that is beyond belief.

The nation believes bama AND lsu are the two top programs. And, it's a fact, not perception.
Your comments are so ignorant, it's not even funny. You really think a player who attends bama is better developed for the n.f.l. than lsu? The draft says no. The number of players from each school in the n.f.l. says no. therefore, the n.f.l. scouts, g.m's, and coaches say no. I guess bill b. doesn't like steven ridley because he isn't mark ingram.

I honestly don't understand these types of fans. The person you are responding to is definitely one of those people. I'm embarrassed for that completely shitty segment of the lsu fanbase. They are truly fricking awful fans.

I don't argue who is the better program right now. I'm not blind. To think that Alabama isn't elite or the top program at this point is ridiculous.
It's the constant and continuous slights that posters like yourself put on LSU as if they're some doormat and not an elite program. As if they were not in a National Championship game less than a year ago.
But to each their own. We know....with Les at the helm, LSU will never sniff another National Championship appearance/win as long as he's there. Of course, that's what everyone was saying in '08, '09, etc. etc.
But this is just beating a dead horse.

Based on What.
He's trolling or basing it on illegitimate MNC, aka Popularity Contest. The bottom line is LSU and Bama have the same number of SEC titles since Saban has been at Bama. This is especially impressive if you consider Bama never plays Florida, Georgie, or USCe from the other side of the conference. Also, if LSU and Bama both win their bowl games, LSU is 35-5 the past 3 years and Bama would be 36-5. If you consider Bama should have never had a chance to get a rematch, then LSU at 36-4 >= Bama at 36-5.
You cannot define a program on a popularity contest and no playoff. The National Champ in CFB is NEVER played out on the field and is a glorified opinion poll.
Both are great programs; one just gets favorable treatment; from illegitmate rematches, to never holding, to soft conference scheduling. Bama is also may be perceived a better program only because the media shoves them down your throat. Educated people realize the truth stated above.
I also don't believe Crutchfield is steering anyone and from what I've read is being as fair as possible to LSU.

If St Aug wants to diffentiate itself from (other) "little piece of shite public high schools", it doesn't hire coaches like DeCarlos Holmes.
These are the type people St Aug has chosen as its role models. Deal with it.

If McCoy doesn't go out in the 1Q, that's a completely different game.

Yup, they have 2 we have 2. After this year, they'll have 3. After next year, we'll have 3.

Yeah, sorry for having the audacity to think a coach, looking out for the best interest of his player, would send that kid to the best coach in the country. The nerve of a coach looking out for the best interest of his kid instead of the best interest of LSU. What an a-hole!

Yeah, I don't gauge anything on BCS MNC after the horseshite of last year. The system is BROKEN and will always have controversy at the end of the year without a legitimate playoff.

Good point. forgot about that.
So, it's alright to say that Miles "got lucky" with his National Championship because he lost two games.
But Bama does it, and Saban and that program is head and shoulders above LSU.
'09 - Texas starting QB goes down in 1Q. Plays backup.
'11 - Mulligan handed to Bama by media
'12 - Tennessee, Mizzou, filled schedule and Ohio St. being on probation.
To be fair, if I were a Bama fan, I'd take it any way I can get it. But without being a hillbilly redneck, every one of their Championship appearances, there was something that fell their way.

His best interest? So, other than W's, what is his player going to get at Bama that he won't at LSU?
and LSU will get just as many as BAMA in the span that kid will be in college.

I'm sorry you're easily offended.
And Prom, I agree with what you said. But Crutch may feel differently.
The only thing I'm saying is that LSU fans are too easily offended. I don't think the guy is trying to purposefully frick over LSU. That's just dumb.

Yes, and DeCarlos Holmes was "looking after the best interest of his player", a DE prospect by sending him to the train-wreck-in-slow-motion that is Texas.
Truth is, he was simply (but conscientiously) steering him away from LSU, where he would have gotten quality PT with Mingo and Montgomery departing.

DeCarlos Holmes is always trying to purposely frick over LSU, and there is nothing really in his work history to disprove that he is "just dumb." He was the guy that got all the South Plaq kids to Bastrop, and then got their titles voided.
He's also the guy that was pushing Rueben Randle to Oklahoma. He orchestrated the Torshiro Davis thing (with Bo Davis), which happened after he was fired from Davis' HS for beating a student. Also, even though he had left Bastrop, he was still acting as the intermediary in Denzel Devall's recruitment.
A HS coach I talked to that was on the staff at Bastrop with him said "he's pretty much the worst person I've ever met."
