DeCarlos Holmes left Shreveport with criminal charges pending and the same reputation he earned in Bastrop.

I don't doubt that there will be more eyes on him at Aug. And pretty much by definition, being a private school means there is more parental involvement.
My question is how was he allowed to work there in the first place?

Well these kids are going to school based on footballl scholarships so that's a pretty dumb point.

yep, all have made it to the n.f.l, never got an injury, never had legal issues, never had a girlfriend break up with them, never had finacial issues, never got home sick, never looked for a job in their home state after college, never had to rely on their education vs their athletic ability. And, i'm the dumb one!

I'm not promoting Bama, but I am saying that even if a coach is steering a kid to Bama it doesn't make them a bad person ... And certainly doesn't deserve criticism if the coach truly has the best interest of a kid at heart.
