Let's be honest here. The "education" that scholarship football players receive at either LSU or Bama has nothing to do with the schools' respective academic rankings.

Either way, both are excellent choices for virtually any high profile recruit.

Miles has NFL experience

To say You have a better shot at a title by going to Alabama is fricking dumb, LSU is one year removed from the title game, and EVERY 4 year player since 2000 has played for a title while at LSU.

LSU is 1 year removed from winning the SEC title. Alabama has 1 more SEC title than les since Saban got to Alabama

Like I said, it's stupid to grade a program on titles but to neglect a program on title appearances. Whatever hate you have for miles, or love for Saban, is completely downplaying what LSU did in 2011.

Actually its tied 2-2 on SEC titles since 2007.

The problem with George's mentality is that he can't see the forest for the trees. He thinks making a top 10 list is some kind of finalized truth and he doesn't get that at a certain level "better" doesn't make a significant difference. Both LSU and Alabama have lots of talent, will be ranked very high and have a great chance to play for SEC and National Titles. Saying one or the other has better chance is a meaningless designation. Its not 1990 anymore, when it did matter. He just can't seem to accept that.

Yeah because Les didn't have a head start or anything in terms of talent and program momentum?

If you can't tell that the tide has turned in the last 2-3 years I don't know what to tell you.

LSU hasn't won a BCS bowl game since 2007.
Alabama is about to play for their 3rd title in 4 years. Take the lead out of your head.

What are each teams records the past 3 years?

What is the head to head record the past 3 years?

How many sec titles did LSU win the past 3 years? Alabama?

I hear you.

Now poll the nation and ask the question:

Who has been the more dominate program the last 5 years?

Who do you think would win?

Dude

No one.. NO ONE is saying Alabama isn't the better program. But the way you're saying it states that it isn't even close, when in actuality it's CLOSER than most(even LSU fans) think.

I never said it wasn't close.

It's very close but Bama is the better program so why shouldn't a kid want to go there and why is a coach vilified if he pushes his best player there?
