Hootie didn't make his final decision until 20 minutes prior
I appreciate that comment whether true or not. Better than the way Collins played it.

can someone share info on the moms recruiting trip last weekend? now that its over maybe we can get some facts about what really happened.
No one really knows man. The kid just wanted to go to Bama more than LSU, really not much more to it. We are in great shape regardless.

the question has to be asked, why in the hell are you going elsewhere to get players?
Then you find out that you lead for a kid that's rated just as highly as the guy you just lost.
Quality over quantity, correct? Who cares where he lives. I don't care if he lives in Alaska, if the kid can play, sign him up.
I'm not even sure where Jackson sits at this point, but if LSU landed him, none of you bitching here would have a problem with it. All of you just take this in-state garbage too personally. If there is a kid that is just as talented lined up, then let the kid from La. go. I don't care as long as he's replaced with another.

Isnt he banned now? Or is he offing his 'sources'?

The Monroe area is kind of like your really good girl friend that you have always liked and hooked up with every now and then. But then you find out that she's been hooking up with someone else too, so it's kind of disappointing but at the same time your not too upset over it cause you have also been hooking up with east Texas on the side

Ponamsky says crowd started chanting Bama when Hootie put on the visor.
And I can tell you unequivocally that the above is utter bullshite. Crowd was mostly students. A couple of Bama outfits....some LSU outfits. Everybody clapped when he made his decision. Vast majority were disappointed, though all congratulated him and showed class about it. No chanting at all.

Oh yea and Hootie may be playing karr in the state finals I think I can't wait for big gee to hit him every time he gets a handoff and speedy to blow by him

Let's ask the right question, why does Les have to

Well, then, that pretty much makes his predictions worthless. Yet people on this board treat him like he is some kind of god.
People will believe what they want to believe. Memphis' take is pro LSU. He states things as if they are guaranteed. People want to believe it...so they do.
I suspect that's Memphis' problem as well. I'd be willing to bet that he puts a lot more stock into the good things that he hears vs. the negative things. He'd have to. Otherwise, he couldn't be as wrong as he was.
He got fooled twice on this one...and this is after he took a beating for the first time. That only happens when you are thinking with emotion rather than logic.

He could continue to troll the board as he has done for the last few months. Makes for good reads.

mom even said the LSU trip didn't go well. would love to hear more details about that.
anyone?
Just a way to justify an unpopular decision that was made a while ago.

I wonder if there would be a place for a guy like Jacob Hester on the staff. He's a young, North Louisiana guy who is an LSU legend. Maybe he could help in that area of the state.

I see us losing out on 2 positions of need this year in an area of the state that is becoming problematic. No meltdown, but its a problem that needs to be addressed
Many coaches would likely move on after being demoted from OC, not stud. His fat arse was happy to collect a nice check for another season
