Not even close. Malone was nowhere near athletic enough to play for a high-major program. This guy is very athletic. He just had even more athletic guys ahead of him at UO who were probably a bit more skilled.
I wouldn't expect him to come in and give you 17/11. But 10/8 shouldn't be out of the question. Plus, he provides a presence at the rim on defense. LSU is in desperate need of size in the frontcourt after next season. This guy gives you experience there.

wade has really flipped johnny's dogshit of a roster in a matter of months. I can't wait to see what he does once he really gets this going

He's only played bball a few years now. After another year on the practice court improving his offensive game, def a good enough athletic big to put down low in year 2.
