This kid will be at camp in July. 6'4 240lbs. Ran a 4.7 at Miss St's camp last week.

Hakim Gray

Check out the hit on the QB at 55 secs.

Really good tackler. Seems like he's a tweener: DT/DE

Will play D1 for sure. Good luck at camp!

Yeah, he has a big frame and if he is good enough to go to LSU he'll play inside.

Roger Goddell wouldn't have any of that hit

It would not surprise me if he preforms well at the LSU camp if he left BR with an offer. I think he is a hidden gem up here in North Louisiana.

Steve, he is legit for sure. Just another great prospect that is flying under the radar. Coaches are starting to see this kid.

We've been lining him up at WR for 7 on 7, LSU will have him at DE and TE for the camp.

here's a link of him catching a Fade for a TD.

Hakim looks like he could be another hidden gem for LSU. Hope he does well at the camp.

Is Abernathy good at getting his players recruited? I know some coaches don't really try.

Ab and the entire staff is great with recruiting. Totally into the kids and getting them to the school where they feel the most comfortable and best situation for them.

I'm biased......I'm on the staff but we work really hard into making sure these kids are at camps even if we have to go ourselves to get them there.

He beats double teams really well.

Big kid for 3A football. Plays inside and out, up and down. Impressive. Hope he does well against the big boys at the LSU camp.

That's really good to know. Hope Hakim and others get their chance. Lots of great players in north louisiana go largely unnoticed

I hear Hakim is waiting on an LSU offer that may or may not come.

His Mississippi State offer is still on the table but may be taken up by the end of the summer if Gray decides to put off his decision.

He's just waiting until all of his camping is over before he makes his decision. If he still is unsure he'll take some visits during the season to some home games.

It's true that offers might not come, or spots be full. But, that's recruiting for you.
