5 highest ranking QB commits for LSU (if Nuss commits):

1. Russell Shepard
2. Ryan Perilloux
3. Jamarcus Russell
4. Brandon Harris
5. Garrett Nussmeier

6. Zach Mettenberger
7. Hayden Rettig
8. Myles Brennan

I’m sold. I love Caleb Williams game but if this kid wants to be at LSU and is ready to be all in then that is that imo.

He will break Joe Burrow's records.

Nobody is touching Joe’s single season records. It’s just not happening. We are all lucky to witness what he did because those records will be around for a while. He was pretty much perfect for 15 games. Nuss could have half of Joe’s production and be damn near an All American.

That’s actually a good point. Forgot about the new transfer rules.

I think Nuss goes to Baylor & LSU gets Caleb Williams. If we get Nuss, it means Caleb is headed elsewhere IMO

If he commits early and sticks that’s good. Let Williams go somewhere else. Nuss is a coaches son and in my opinion will have a brighter future.

I was sold on Nuss after seeing his JR highlights for the first time, but I have no doubt Williams is the real deal. He has the arm talent and his ability as a runner is elite. He may need to work on consistency/accuracy, but his mechanics look sound. My only concern with him is whether he will string LSU along and commit elsewhere.

It’s UNC or TCU if it’s not LSU for Nuss

Take and keep. If Williams wants in later take him too

This is most important in my opinion.

Arm strength is meaningless without accuracy.

You have to complete passes to open WRs and the best QBs that are accurate complete passes to WRs that are covered.

Having said that....Let’s get both!

You take Nuss in April.

Then you take CW at any point if he ever wants in.

And if CW doesn’t end up here, it won’t be because Nuss is committed.

If he commits, you can't turn him down. You have to take his commitment.

Then hopefully Caleb isn't afraid of competition and goes ahead and commits as well.

Meanwhile, if Caleb doesn't commit to LSU and commits elsewhere instead, then LSU needs to go after Ty Thompson. As Thompson looks as good as the other two QBs on film.

Disappointing. Would much rather Caleb Williams

There is not one thing about him that should be disappointing. Unless Williams is great, but first come first serve IMO.

Furthermore, the last thing I read about Caleb Williams is he is supposed to commit around the same time as Nussmeier. So we shouldn't have to wait long to find out about Caleb.

Sounds like Brandon Harris 2.0 I am riding with Nuss.
