A. Money is never unlimited - unless it comes from the government. B. These are a bunch of rich idiots throwing money at an asset that will give zero return. It ain't gonna last.

If a school/boosters can pay 4 times what you can it might as well be unlimited. Remember you’re talking about billionaire boosters, so it can last a long time.

Can somebody get Coach Cajun Kelly to do a parody of this? I’m thinking to line the entrance way with top of the line swamp boats that leads to a massive table with the largest pile of crawfish anybody has ever seen. Of course CCK will be having a feast and the 5 star recruit will join him.

So you're saying the guy in the office cubicle who is making a good salary, who is making money for the company should be paid as much as the CEO?

No argument there. Unlimited transfers without penalty is the other biggest issue.

Whether from the portal or HS recruit. NIL will never be capped.

For me, (thinking back when I was 18). I’d be in awe of a lambo. But as parent now, I would feel some type a way. Like you’re telling me you’re just gonna buy my kid, and that’s the bottom line. Like do you know how goofy that is to have adults revving up engines to impress my kid? Hopefully they have parents who can see through the smoking clouds smh.

The vast majority of the billionaire boosters are smart enough to realize they're not getting a return on their investment, and they're not even looking for it. They're just buying players for their school, and a few million here and there isn't going to faze them.

How long are they willing to drop money on an asset that gives zero return?

All those Lambos will back at the dealership on Monday. Most of these kids have never even seen a stick shift.

It's kinda like how we have perennial all pros and recent championships and Heismans greeting recruits. Ours are a lot more impressive, and if you come here you could probably earn one of your own, unlike Texas and their leased and borrowed Lambos from the dealership there in Austin.

Not surprised. 20 years ago it was Dodge Chargers at Bama.

I would’ve thought that was so cool when I was 12. Who the frick at 18 years old goes on a recruiting trip and thinks that’s cool enough to sign with Texas and waste their career at a mediocre program?

If that's what you want recruits thinking about when they sign with your program, fine. Don't whine when they're only about that dollar and are completely out for themselves, though. I also don't think you're going to pull many Bryce Underwood types if that is your only message.

They have to throw stupid amounts of money around like that. Most of these kids were either not alive or babies when Texas won their last national championship. How the hell else are they going to convince them to go there?

This won't work. You know how fast they can get out of austin in a Lamborghini. That money would have been better spent on Hummers, or cats, or shrimp.

If I were a billionaire, I don’t know if I would want all the other billionaires laughing at me for liking a college football team THAT much…
