How so? Their head coach and all their position coaches outside the OL coach are all at LSU.

Garrison and Judge stayed. I wouldn’t expect more than 5.

Your melting after 3 days? These kids are making life altering decisions. I actually think it's smart to think things over. Calm your nerves down man.

Be patient, there are >4500 players in the portal & more jumping in literally every hour of the day.

Patience isn't a key virtue a lot of people around here possess. It's definitely a telling sign among the true grown ups, the kids and the older people that never grew up.

Dude, he replaced 18 of 22 Ole Miss starters this season via the last portal. He is the portal king so just sit back and relax! No need to panic at all because he has shown he can win with not the best and coach them up!!!

I recall people on here wanting CLM fired after the Monday night loss to UThug in 2005 & me responding he might need more of a chance.

Been suggesting patience on here for 20 years, some things never change, LOL.

I’m willing to bet we get a shite ton of transfers from the Ole Miss offense

ole miss is gonna throw out ridiculous numbers to retain them because they don't wanna watch the players on their best team ever follow the their best coach ever to their rival

No, it never does. The sky seems to always falling. Some folks just need to realize the world isn't perfect, and there will always be circumstances that sway anything one way or another.

I think this cycle has made it evident that a lot of our fans don't really follow the portal.

It's quite rare for a school to get a lot of commitments early. LSU didn't start off fast last year either, and they signed the highest ranked portal class in school history

We have a lot of players scheduled to visit and a few that already have. If it gets to NEXT weekend and we still have one commit, then I think it'd be worrisome. Not right now

If LSU can’t out spend Ole Miss then that is sad considering all this money LSU supposedly has to spend in NIL. If LSU really wants them, Ole Miss should not be able to contend with LSU money wise.

I think this year was due to all of the Lane tweets about Jan 2nd and fans thought he probably already had players lined up to commit on that day. It was a little misleading I’d have to admit.

Any school has to be smart about its big offers. Rev Share funds are fair game, but you can burn through that very quickly if you're offering absurd amounts up front. After that, it's all 3rd Party NIL subject to the clearing house. Our money and network is bigger than theirs to make it work.

Rev Share funds are going to go to big fish.
NIL will all be fair market value.

This sounds like crybaby shite when the Saints don’t sign anyone a few days into free agency.

LSU is working deals with players we don’t even know about. Only the really big names (like the QBs) get headlines.

Also, I do think once Ole Miss gets bounced there will be quite a few leaving for the Tigers. Ole Miss can pay what they want. LSU can match and offer the coach that likely recruited them.

Also I trust Lane to evaluate talent. It’s not alway about getting 4 and 5 stars based on high school rankings. It’s about team and scheme fit, and him coaching them to be better players.

If Kiffin and Glasscock think a player is worth $500k and Ole Miss offers him $1m, I don't think we're going to get in a bidding war over it.

And 99% of the time it’s out of our control!
In the over all scheme of things we (and by we, I mean they) worry about the dumbest shite! Lots of first world problems on here for sure!
