Incident aside, the issue started with him missing and blowing off workouts and stuff. So even if the incident never occurred do we want to rely on a player that doesn’t want to put in all the work necessary to be his best? I say no

it started from him failing classes and not even being eligible then moved to the things you listed. i mean he isnt a bad kid though, atleast in the past but he has a dog shite home life and it came through in this situation.
did the SC coach go overboard with what he told him....yep. but he pulled the knife out. was slammed down immediately. but he pulled the knife out, period.
think barbe wanted to kick him off? frick no, especially with the very young pitching staff they have.
