Seems like the IT guys were just fricking around when they dropped the big 3 that teams were going after with these names that teams we're "going hard after"

Dude, what are you talking about? Ricky Collins was a recruit with a lot of upside, and he just poached MSU’s starting QB in the portal. He misses one guy, so we start subtracting guys?

QB is a wild position. You think you got a good one, but most guys it takes a few years to be ready to play. They don't want to stick around for 3 years.

QB play hasn't been in the top 10 of issues of the BK regime. 1-5 on that list are all defense.

Yeah, agreed. But that’s why I’m not penalizing BK for it either. It hasn’t been a sore spot for us

BK still hasn't landed a QB since coming to LSU and seeing what ND is doing without him makes us look like we unloaded their garbage so they could finally reach their potential.

ND has not exceeded BK's achievements while BK was at ND yet. Without the college playoff expansion ND would not even be in the college playoffs. ND is about to get boat raced by Ohio State too.

This x 1000. ND fans are delusional and willing to create a story to make them sound relevant. There is a reason they have never, nor will ever join a conference.

What programs don't go to the portal for players?

It's not the same game and college football is currently structured worse than the NFL.

It brings up a couple of questions:

1. Without this top-ranked portal class, just how terrible was the 2025 edition of the Tigers expected to be?

2. What the heck have Brian Kelly and the assistants been doing the last three years to necessitate such an overhaul?

Like everyone else, I'm glad they're bringing in a bunch of guys who supposedly can turn 2025 around, but things must have looked awfully bleak from the inside.

Do you even know NCAAFB in 2025, baw?

Putting up his own money might have just saved his job and made us serious contenders.

Does the Heisman winner that had one of the greatest offensive seasons in the history of college football count?

It might be helpful if you think about your post before you hit submit so you don’t look quite as dumb

ND definitely wouldn't be in the NC in the old system. They have the luckiest path ever to it with an extremely weak playoff bracket.

It doesn't matter though, this system currently proves anyone can get in and they're also smart for playing the cupcake schedule while also being independent. Now they're getting paid 20 million+ just to show up to a NC game that unlike everyone else, they share with nobody and they can easily distribute it to their football program to make it even more relevant in NIL era.

Ohio State is very likely going to destroy them but we'll see. Honestly, none of these playoff teams are convincing outside OSU get hot at the right moment. Anyone can get in. LSU has as good a chance as anyone next year and made it even easier with being a top 5-10 talented team in the country.

Current system supports playing a cupcake schedule to grift your way into a playoffs and hope the committee messes up to give you a weak bracket like ND went through. A team that loses to NIU should not sniff the NC game. It proves nobody was dominant this year because there's so much roster turnover giving anyone a chance.

You don’t follow football at all do you? you don’t even have to follow LSU football to know just how stupid your statement is. Hell, you don’t even have to watch college football and just watch the NFL as you should be able to tell just how stupid your comment is.

No reason except a loss in game 1 again plus 2-3 SEC losses.

He said “On December 21st, before Christmas, Brian Kelly mentioned they were aiming for around 15 additions, and here they are at 14. There are even reports of silent commits from a safety and an offensive lineman currently playing in the College Football Playoff.” You guys beg for whispers behind the scenes and get mad when he gives them

Well someone stating on national media that we poached players (silent commits on active teams) would cause a lot of harm and possibly fck up plans so when it comes to those whispers, he should give hints and leave some words like commits out.
