Endowments are considered by US News College Rankings, but it's not a primary indicator. The first is the academic selectivity of the university / college. Most at the very top of the list only accept 7 or 8% of it's applicants. Average test scores are also waaay up there as an indicator. The reason is that the tests are very objective and cut through grade inflation that can occur in high schools. The bulk of SEC schools are not "top 100". Those that are include Vandy, Florida, Texas, A&M, UGA and Auburn (with the latter being ranked in the 90s).

buy season tickets, I travel for multiple sports, I purchase gear, I pay TAF fees, I show up to games. My other money goes to my family and child, not a 17year old kid I never met, so he can buy a gold chain and new car. He gets a free tuition, free rent, free food, free clothes, free tutoring, free books, free gym and money to get by. Plus an opportunity to get money from working with companies. And you’re sending him 10K? The loser is in the mirror, Bud.

Starting next year the TAF fees are going to be going to that 17 year old kid

chip in an extra 10k to boost our NIL

I’ll buy some tickets to a few games and my kid a damn jersey to show my support. My arse isn’t writing a check for $10,000 and sending it in.

It’s not like we are even in a bad position. Gordon has us close to bringing in the offensive trifecta of the #1 QB, RB, and WR in this next recruiting class. Does that sound like we are hurting for money??

Lol if you think Gordon is mostly responsible for that

I love LSU football. Have way better things to spend money on though, than a bunch of pre Madonna football players that will transfer out the next year

If they earn that thru real nil then great for them
This is how it's supposed to work. I have zero interest in any one player's name, image or likeness. For the average fan to contribute money is not NIL-it's straight pay to play.

The biggest complainer is Nick Saban. He has a shite ton of money.

You’re incorrect.

Anyone opposed to NIL hates capitalism and thus hates America. FACT!

you think LSU is struggling then tell me why they're headed to the #1 recruiting class? Also, LSU was one of the few universities past few years to have a top 10 recruiting AND portal class. BK is more selective this year because of the duds he got out of portal last year and depth being less of an issue in most areas on the roster except DT.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. This class will probably end up top 3/5

anyone see that video with all the texas lambos? remind me why im wrong again?

And you think every player they sign is going to get one?

Parents along with most of the players see through that shite. Yeah, it's cool for the weekend to put on instagram. Then you get back home and reality kicks in.

Lsu could waste money on that shite but it wouldn't be authentic. I'd rather put that money into coaching staff and roster retention

I ain’t giving one cent to those spoiled, entitled athletes who are already getting a ton of free stuff. Also, I don’t care if college football collapses. CFB doesn’t define my existence.

None of this true
Ole Miss doesn’t have big money but they are more organized and have 5 times the small time donors and are strategic where they spend it

Also our HC and AD are resistant to NIL and not doing a good job raising money for it

We broke. Working in the patch doesn't pay enough to fund NIL.

Yea I remember it. All that money you donated to get Underwood.
I took 12K and paid my son’s tuition for the year.
We’re built different.
