Many of them think we’re still living in 1995 and their rightful spot is above us on the pecking order. They point to their 5 straight wins in the 90s as proof and completely disregard the fact that that was 30 years ago, and our programs have gone in vastly different directions since then. They’ve been saying “this is the year we start to dominate LSU” for 10 years.

This is so beautiful to see. Makes me so happy. All we needed was legislation to finally pass and everything is great now.. And no... we are not working with OU or Bama...
Just wait though... when they start losing games this year, watch the real melts... when all of their great class from last year suddenly wants to transfer. Jimbo does not make it 2 more years..

The thing about the 90s for Aggies is that literally is the only Decade they ever had a winning record against us. It truly is the anomaly in the data.

Well, for starters- by letting Woodward do his job, unlike his predecessor. Not getting in front of a microphone and threatening to shut down the football program, unlike his predecessor. By not torpedoing AD’s decisions at halftime of a football game because of optics, unlike his predecessor. Basically by not being a bumbling drunk moron like F King. Tate knows that the LSU football program steers the ship. they are also ignoring the fact that at the time, that was the first stretch and only stretch is LSU's, then, first 100 years of football they had more than 3 sub .500 seasons in a row and the worst coach in college football who got the job because he had a QB at Southern Miss named Bret Farve...
8&4s greatest winning streak at 5 against LSU in the history of the rivalry came in the Dark Ages of LSU football and they think they will be able to do it again...

That’s bs we have gotten top 3 classes consistently prior to NIL. Even if we were to pull the number 1 class somehow I think most still think the system needs to change. Signing freshmen with 6-7 figure contracts is just stupid.
