You rarely hear of the ex players turned NFL stars donating. Not sure if they do so quietly or refrain. Or are they prohibited as current nfl players? Chase, burrow, JJefferson,do any of them contribute? Genuinely curious.

Well we must all remember OBJ (Beckham) making his famous cash donation, lol.

Pat Pete and Tyrann have rooms named after them in ops. Some do it quietly.

Considering donations to TAF are tax deductible, I'd venture to say the answer is yes. Just because they don't publicize it doesn't mean it's not happening.

Troy Aikman recently mentioned that he did it once and will never do it again. The player never showed any gratitude for what Troy did and left after one year at UCLA. All fingers point to Dante Moore.

I remember Tyrann Mathieu donated like $1mil to LSU. Don't think it was NIL though

Maybe not directly to the NIL funds but he donates to TAF and the Alumni Association. They use the suite he sponsored at Lod Cook for recruiting. Many of the former players donate to different programs tied to athletics. Pepper Rutledge is one of the biggest football donors including NIL and he played for LSU in the early 70s.
