People act like portnoy was really involved in that. He wasn't.

He Even tells you himself that he has nothing to do with Michigan's nil and doesn't even know anything about how it's structured.

If he wants to come here, it won’t be for nearly as much as it was.

Sad thing is, you'll have a small roster if you dont want any of these kids cause all of them have loyalty to themselves first.

NIL has changed the landscape of college athletics to semi-pro. I totally get the concept.

This. What you want or I want is irrelevant. It will be decided by the coaching staff.

Was it a "Underwood wanted too much money"?

Or did the Oracle guy throw so much money at him (life changing money for he and his family), that he had to go to Michigan? Remember he was fine with what LSU was offering. Michigan thew the crazy bag. He would be stupid not to take it.

Yeah Portnoy admitted this week that he is not "one of the guys in the room". He has no real access

Why would we even give consideration to the evaluation of last year's coaching staff. Didn't they prove with the vast majority of their 18 million dollar portal buys that they are clueless in player evaluation. If LSU would have signed BU at an outrageous cost, it would have exceeded the worst evaluation that last year's staff made. Hopefully, this staff is far far better at player evaluation. If they sign either Leavitt or BU, then I will lose a lot of confidence in what we have hired as a new offensive staff.

Dude proved one thing for sure, shows loyalty to himself. I for one don't blame him but he exemplifies what's wrong with college football. Do not want.

You guys need to stop living in the past. This is college football now. You don't like it stop watching. Some of you guys are starting to sound like old piss fans "he went to another school so frick him".

I’ll trust CLK on this. If he wants Underwood, I want Underwood. If he doesn’t, then neither do I.

Sorry, but any player in the country that receives an offer like Michigan gave him should take it. It is the contract amount that is shameful.

Thank you. And the opportunity to make that while staying at home. You couldn't blame him for that. But nowadays, guys enter the portal and have an opportunity to play where they always wanted to initially.

Right. I don't fault him for taking it and I also wouldn't fault him for leaving to actually develop better. I think they are smart to consider their options.

I feel like if I could get even close to equal pay then I would rather play in a better offense. Meaning I would still take less money at this point if it meant I could be more attractive to the pro draft.
