When did you want him to commit? His freshman year? How do you know how long he’s had an offer?

I thought he had huge interest in Oklahoma but after talking to a relative I think he’s going to be a tiger, and possibly a great one. Has some things you just can’t coach.

I absolutely love this kid. I've been saying he was my pick out of the 3.

When people on here were saying lsu was passing on him a few months ago I just couldn't figure out why.

Now it comes out he was #1 on their board. Now who knows if that is true.

Either way I'm glad he will be an lsu quarter back.

So far in 3 games Houston has 1008 yards passing, 8 TDs, 0 INTs and 65.3% completion.

He's also rushed for 414 yards, 12 YPR and 4 TDs.

Haven put up pretty big numbers Friday, but also threw 2 pick 6's. (MaxPreps doesn't have his season stats)

Colton has played in 2 games:
421 yds passing; 3 TDs/0INTs; 75% compl. He's also added 119 yds rushing and 2 TDs

Except, he's not 6 feet tall is he? Relax ese..I wish him the best, but we just went through this with Hurley...

He’s much more polished right now than Hurley was at any point in HS. And like posted earlier you have tons of examples of great QBs in college who were 5’10-6ft range. You don’t need to be 6’4 to be a great QB in college

Definitely more JJ than JD5.

Peyton is shifter and has a quicker first step than JJ. Not as fast as JD5 but fast enough.

He was 16 until last week. He’s only going to get bigger, faster, stronger. He can get more dynamic in several areas, just with genetics and maturity.

He is very talented and could be special but he could have thrown at least 4 pics in that game if Byrds DB's could catch. Hopefully it was an anomaly.

It doesn’t matter about NFL. all of those QBs you listed were great in college. I care about what Houston does at LSU. And he’s definitely got the talent to be successful at his height in college. And also no, Hurd was good but he did not have that wow factor and electrifying play making ability like Houston does.

He is definitely not 6 foot. closer to 5'10" but has a solid frame. Can spin it and looks effortless in his running. Really don't think he reaches six foot. He has not grown much since he got in high school. I know some boys still have big growth spurts in high school and beyond but a ton of them grow very little in height through high school and just get broader shoulders and get thicker and stronger. whether that is an issue who knows. Don't think it as big of a deal as some make it out to be. We have seen athletic shorter QB's like the ones mentioned have great college careers and become high draft picks which is all we care about for the most part.

we have a similar QB who was all everything too at 16 in HS

you're a fricking idiot

Hurley wasn't all world at 16 - he barely completed 50% of his passes his last year in HS and against shite competition.

Houston is 10x the HS qb Hurley was

Your Mom is a slut..is that the right response?

Seems harsh, but may be true.

He plays in NE LA for a great HS team
..it ain't the SEC.

He will NEVER SEE THE FIELD for LSU unless against the Yankee Louisiana Monroe team...then he transfers

5'10 is different than 6'0.

He may grow an inch but at this stage, he's somewhat finished growing..maybe an inch.

So he's 5'11.

He's destined for Div.2

She starts off with, " you're a fricking idiot"

Deserves a Mom response.

She's transitioning and angry

Probably not important to whether he’ll ever play but Hurley is about 6’1 now. Pop could add a little height in the next couple of years.

Brandon Harris looked like that, too. What will determine how good he gets is does he have a Jayden brain or a Harris brain. Can’t really tell that in high school.

He's not wrong, and you are pretty stupid for that take.

Hurley's skillset is totally different from Houston's and not nearly as polished.
