I disagree. As important as Pickett is, we still have a functional defensive roster. We do NOT currently have that on the offensive side. We had to hold the line somewhere and those 2 were it.

We will see quickly if Brad Davis was the issue or if it was the talent. I have a feeling it was a bit of both.
Also, you need to remember that it should be expected for a lot of these guys to move on because the entire coaching staff they built their relationships with are gone.
Add in the POS Wilson never should have been the interim and you get a few more, particularly NOLA area kids that might bail.
Kiffin doesn’t have to win a title next year to be considered not a failed hire. He will turn the program around. We saw what a quick turnaround got LSU under BK with a peak first year with 4 losses. You want to build a strong program it may take a couple of years.

Virtually every lineman we had outside of a healthy Moore was bad. Brad Davis didn’t develop shite and we played the kid out of position he was a natural guard who we forced to play tackle. A true freshmen playing out of position in the sec is a recipe for disaster
