I once heard Mike Detillier refer to Georgia LB Odell Thurman as....."he has more flies around him than a trash can". Thurman was a stud, but always in trouble. The Bengals drafted him and he didn't last long.
That sounds like Denver Harris to me. No thanks. Character is important to Kelly. I'll trust his judgment, but I would be shocked if he took him.

also doesn’t know how hard it would get out of the NIL contracts they signed with the Aggies
NIL deals aren’t allowed to be tied to a university so that would not prevent anyone from transferring

It’s against Texas state law for NIL to be tied to an institution.
This is so easily worked around that it’s almost not even worth mentioning. These deals are actual contracts—with obligations imposed on both sides. All you have to do is impose some obligation on the kid that is difficult/impossible to fulfill from outside of college station and you’ve effectively tied them to TAMU without doing so explicitly.
“I’ll pay you $5k per week in exchange for one weekly appearance at my car dealership in college station”. This doesn’t violate the texas state law but it sure as hell would be tough to satisfy that contract without attending texas A&M.

I'd take Mathews in a heartbeat!

What exactly did Harris do to get that got himself in trouble over there?

Racing a car through the parking garage like an a-hole and smoking weed in the locker room.

Is this 100%?
Well, nothing is 100% until it happens. Jacoby’s heart was never in college station. He wanted to be at LSU the whole time. The crying stories to Frank Wilson on signing day are true. He just couldn’t pass up his NIL deal of 175-200k to sign with A&M, plus another 150k each year he’s there. Things could change, but there’s definite chatter about him leaving. I’ll hear more after the season is over.

Straighten Harris out and grab both, plus that big DT they have and David Hicks ( 23)

I heard our top NIL guy G say he just states they have to live in LA in his deals. Also, his deals are very short term like months. He said its messy to terminate a contract so just have it where you don’t renew it.

So, being an 18 year old? Got it. I drive fast still... The daughters and sons of you all, who are gone away to college...yeap, they either have or have tried a little pot. It is what it is. If that's been his only behavior issues, I don't see why we demonize him. Come on down!

Holy oversimplification.

Re: Culotta and the rest of the LSU radio/internet/tv shows-
They’re basically super fans like we are with more access. LSU only gives them what info they want them to have and everything beyond that is just to feed our enormous appetite for anything LSU. Good recruiting sources too. I actually think all are pretty good when viewed from afar, each show is unique. Well except T-Bob when he’s blitzed at the cigar bar postgame ??

You completely skipped over “smoking weed in the locker room”

I suppose the contracts could say something to the effects of "student athlete" must live full time and exclusively near X location, college station TX for example. Obviously that would prevent the player from going to a different school because they would be too far from the campus to go there.

Your average 18 year old doesn’t speed in a parking garage pal
