What makes you think he will go to LSU? Would be great if you are right. Just curious.

Getting these brothers would cause so many dominoes to fall in LSU’s favor... this could be HUGE

All that being said, they won't be going to Tecas unless Herman turns it around in a hurry.

Beautiful thing is we can help drive the nail in the coffin next year.

And that’s one damn quality Oline prospect.

You’re taking athleticism and building on in, not in a weight loss struggle.

Crystal ball pick for Tommy Brockermeyer to #LSU by TexasTiger24

If Herman isn’t able to land this guy that might be his last straw at Texas. The Brockermeyers are about as UT as it gets. The only reason he would go anywhere else is because how big of a chode Herman is.

It's Texas if the season goes well, especially if the offense looks good. They might commit to a placeholder before then (LSU, Bama, or someone else), but if Texas is in a good place this upcoming season, that'll be the choice.

Otherwise, probably LSU or Bama. Clemson was previously thought to be the favorite alternative, but Blake got tired of them playing games about offering James, and canceled the visit they were supposed to take

This crystal ball is essentially a bet that Texas will struggle again next year, which is... fair

And here is your problem with Texas football folks. It’s run like a frat instead of a football program. What a joke.

There are circumstances where this statement would make sense.

This isn’t one of them.

They’re the rep runner for a top 5 player. That’s a good thing

The statement makes sense wether the player is top 5 or ranked #1000. They believe every “Legacy” player is automatically theirs no matter what kind of shape their program is in. Obviously it gives you a foot in the door, but it’s not the kid’s God given right to attend the University of Texas. That’s how they view their football program, though.

They don’t take legacies who are #10000000

This guy is a guy they want. Everyone wants, and they have a huge foot in the door as he is a legacy.

No matter what LSU offers we cannot offer a chance to join his father’s team.

Now if Texas thinks that’s all they need it’s clearly a bad thing.

That's kind of how all schools are about legacies if they are talented kids. OSU "passed" on Winfield's kid and he has been an absolute stud for Minny. Miami just had a lot of legacies in one class if I recall.

Hickey is often a huge Clemson glasses homer, so her putting a pick in for LSU is prob pretty solid

What scenario would it take for Herman to be let go after next year? Would it have to be a total, 6-6 type disaster?

Maybe the chance to win a championship is, too. We'll see which one wins out, I guess....
