I don’t see how this isn’t the number one transfer class when you are talking about addressing needs with quality players and will add to a top ten recruiting class. Maybe 2025 is the year, who knows but it’s possible now.

Great job after the “one who shall not be named” BS. (Not much we could do when the 3rd or 4th richest mfer in the world, new trophy wife says “buy this QB for Michigan baby.”

Texas Tech (of all programs?!?) has brought in a heck of a transfer class, but I do think ours is PERFECT (assuming we close with the right 2-3 more) in filling every hole we had

I'm so amazed by some portal acquisitions, but overall I'm not yet willing to be assured we are completely better off. It's more reasonable to make a call on how the quality and impact of the portal "class" really turns out as hoped. There are no guarantees our portal acquisitions' injuries are totally resolved to the point the players are guaranteed to raise their game vs never becoming a part of the Tiger's arsenal.

I feel like this is one of those "hurry up and wait" circumstances.

I know the staff has worked hard to assure all the puzzle pieces are in place, but simply have to only be cautiously optimistic.

Texas Tech athletics and their NIL foundation are being bankrolled by 2 young Billionaires who are giving back to their Alma mater and want to WIN Championships.

Isn’t every coach, player, fan, and boosters goal to win a Championship? At least these 2 guys are putting their money where their mouth is by donating/giving millions to sign transfer portal athletes to serious NIL deals. The B12 is wide open since Texas and OU left. By signing top players in all sports, TT is in a better position to compete for NC’s.

I agree. For him to laugh and be smug is foolish. And near sighted.

In this new world where cash is flowing freely I can definitely see, if things stay as they are, new teams who aren't traditional players for titles come into the fold.

TT participating heavily should hurt TX and aTm more than us.

Bingo! Let’s hope Harvard and Yale don’t get serious about sports. Talk about alumni bucks.

(Surprised USCw is not yet more active in portal. Hollywood money has to be more than what we’ve seen so far.)

A lot more money at TT than most seem to realize. Ton of oil money out of that school.

We were clearly strategic and aggressive in getting our needs met. I love the fact that players/leaders were involved as well. Well done to the staff.

If our last 3 recruiting classes turned out so good we wouldn’t have to depend this much on the portal like Kirby smith does

Now let’s see if they can play in 1 year together.

There in lies the problem. Trying to get guys to play well enough together in one year is a hit or miss from here on out.

Thats been the other big issue coaching in game adjustments/prep..alot of slow starts, no ability to adjuat in game(TX Am, Bama etc), bad season openers...thats been a C at best, player development in certain areas good(Bo Davis) in a lot not so good...(OL this year good recruits but regressed from being strong point) WRs alot of talent very mixed results for development.

It’s not just LSU though.

If you notice lots of “Good” teams have a hard time collecting themselves when stuff starts going the other way now.

Adjustments are more difficult when there is less knowledge in a system on how to be prepared with different plays to combat the attack.

*Point is, quality of the game is in a decline currently.

Thompson in and Perkins coming back makes this a great day to be a Tiger! We are just a few players away from a perfect transfer portal. (A safety or two maybe blocking TE or Olineman depending on who u ask )

It's truly amazing to me the erratic nature of the opinions about our coach from our fanbase. It's been nothing but negative since the USC loss.

CBK getting booed at home games.
CBK getting shite on because a 17 year old immature kid chose to stay home to play college ball.
CBK criticizes his players and jumps them when they don't play up to their potential, and gets killed in the media and by LSU fans.
CBK gets character assassinated by the national media losers in the media every time he drops a game, because he had the audacity to turn his back on college football royalty at ND.

The 2 coaches we had before BK, couldn't read. They were some of the dumbest people to ever hold a head coaching position. One was a Tim Waltz style closet philanderer that had an outdated 1970's - 3 plays and a cloud of dust offensive gameplan. He had no clue about how to utilize talent and never made an adjustment. We won in spite of him.
Coach O proved himself to be an immature child. Acted like a 15 year old with a fake ID the moment he won the National Championship. He quit working. He quit recruiting. He only cared about getting his dick wet. He was awful at maintaining our program and left us screwed when he was finally let go. We won in spite of him.

Where do our fans get this sense of entitlement? CBK is the best coach we have ever had, minus maybe Nick Saban. If our idiot fans give him time and space he will win us a title. The landscape of college football has changed. It is much more complicated to win it now. There is no one I would trust in charge of our program than Brian Kelly right now. Tell me who you would rather have??

I am thrilled everyone is praising his portal moves. He has a comprehensive system to put together a team. If we simply leave him alone, he will produce.
Geaux Tigers!!
