Yall just be happy for the guy.
Quit shitting on players.
I do not care if they get paid or not. We are taking players from teams that they defected from too.
And those fanbases look like crap when they talk about our new commits.

I liked Daniels and this is a real head scratcher for me, he was injured and had 42 catches. Healthy he comes back and is looking at a season of 60 plus catches and around 1000 yards, I dont think he has the measureables to get in the league without productivity.....Miami is a head scratcher.
We will most likely lose Horton to Bama and he was slated to maybe becoming our WR1. We lose our top 2 WRs in Restrepo and George. we had 5 WRs with > 500 yards last year with Restrepo getting 1100. Daniels probably becomes our WR1 and assuming we can get Mateer or a close equivalent, we should see a productive offense again. Maybe not #1 in the country but at worst, top 10. Time will tell.

I can be ambivalent. I never got the idea of why I should be happy for a kid who left school when playing time wasn't an issue. I also don't care if he got a better NIL deal. That actually makes it worse to me, tbh. I have less respect for him now. Good news is these types of guys rarely come out better for leaving, so I doubt there will be much regret.

He was a solid pass catcher, above average hands on the positive side….
Not explosive AT ALL, struggled getting separation down field, speed was average…not someone I would fret about losing

We don't have classy fans; it's beneath them to just congratulate a guy.

Mateer, the #1 transfer portal player, is the QB whom Miami is throwing alot of money towards to steal him away from Oklahoma

So much misinformation but I think we can now assume he was essentially pushed out by his low NIL offer here
Just look at what LSU has signed. Add in the fact that he has a chronic heal issue that will continue to cause him to be less than 100% and probably miss some games. This was a positive move for LSU
...i told yall that
what i was told it was simple...the OG deal was for 2 years...paying a certain amount but had to be reupped for second season.....they didnt feel his play was worth being the 3rd highest paid player on the team...told him we were going to pay way less....he got mad and left
glad he got a bag.....yall got to get used to this...i know its a huge change in CFB but this is how it is now. Its a year to year deal for the most part. Better than overspending for HS players and then having them leave after a year

Confirms these kids have zero forward thinking and are only chasing a short term bag that won’t make them rich the rest of their life.
Kid is giving up a season with Nuss to go play for a new QB taking over after Cam Ward. So stupid.
I’m not sure man. Is he projected to be an NFL receiver?
If not, getting the bag now is what he should be doing. And living in Miami is pretty freaking sweet, and they are also a playoff eligible team. He has no real ties to LSU or Baton Rouge so not loyalty affecting his decision.

Good luck CJ. Go be great, bro!
With that being said, we upgraded at the WR position in the portal

He'll do well there. No D in the ACC.

Did we inform him that our wide receiver NIL money was going to be spent elsewhere?
Posted on 12/18/24 at 12:33 pm to geauxpurple
I'm sure the coaches told him they were going after a few bigtime wrs that he was going to have to contend with and he said no thanks. That's what I get out of it after seeing who we got.

I think yall are forgetting that BK mentioned in a press conference that he expected Daniels back
I think our aggressiveness in the portal at WR was a reaction to his entry more so than vice versa. I think the original plan was to have Anderson and Daniels return and add in 1-2 through the portal like Brown and Hill

Let me guess, he got 1.2 million, 5 cars for him and family, unlimited blow jobs by the best escort scene in South Beach, 1 lbs of weed each month and a suite at Dolphins Stadium?
