Chicken - serious question for you

Have you considered or been in talks with LSU about creating a Tigerdroppings NIL fund? LSU needs to revamp its NIL fundraising and I'd imagine many here would be happy to donate to a Tigerdroppings NIL partnership.
Is this even a possibility? I'm ignorant when it comes to the ins and outs of a third party such as Tigerdroppings forming a partnership with LSU for this purpose.

all you have to do is go to the LSU website to contribute to whatever sports you want to

why wouldn't you just donate to the existing collective?

He did, and was sure to make a thread about it. He needs the attention from this board though.

Nothing against Chicken and Tigerdroppings but I don't think this website has the kind of NIL money LSU needs. And I mean that with all due respect.

Bc why wouldn’t we do a TD one, elect an annual Board of Directors, and democratically vote on which 5 star player to give a package too that ultimately leaves us at the alter? Could amplify the melting experience.

Sounds like a door to door campaign. Or better yet, beat out the AAU teams to hug the blocks near the stoplights.

Well if I was looking for attention, you're always a lock for it.

So help me understand then, maybe this is something I just don't know. We have Gordon McKernan who obviously is a big donor. What I was thinking was something along the lines of what he does, but for TD. Like the site becomes a medium for donating to the fund in a simple easy to understand way, under the TD name. Another medium to pump dollars into the fund.

So you want to set up a completely different organization with it's own expenses and possible avenues for mismanagement of the funds instead of giving money directly to the organized collective with (hopefully) good oversight? Why duplicate the effort?

Why? LSU has done everything already. Just donate through it.

I guess that'd be easier then. Just was thinking of a way for TD posters to have an easy way to have more of an investment and interest in the things we bitch about so often.

I could see an Rant account being used to constructively to deal with all the "bets" that are challenged and unheeded on this site.
Next time somebody says, "I'll bet ya", have the loser show a deposit into the Rant NIL account or forever face shame from other posters here.
No idea whether this could raise any significant money, but the downside risk seems negligible.
