It seems they have money but aren’t going to throw it around unless they think it’s deserved. They set their numbers and let it play out.

I get what you are saying. I'd rather spread that 1.5 mil around and get a few impact players.
The lsu defense needs more than 1 elite guy. I just don't think they are close enough to go after downs.

LSU definitely does not have the NIL that those schools have, that's just reality.

Lol I remember LSU was the first or one of the first schools to actively promote NIL with the "NILSU" videos and banners in Times Square, etc. in 2020.

As a true freshman he led Bama in tackles (107) and solo tackles by 30 (70) and also had 2 pics and a punt return TD.
However I 100% believe he's Ohio St or UGA bound.

If you’d told me at the beginning of the NIL era LSU would have 0 chance of getting players of this caliber out of the portal I would say your crazy. Especially a DB….But yea….LSU has 0 chance lol
