I understand he's just doing his job as the director of recruiting for Texas, but man it really stings that our former Quarterback is recruiting Louisiana players away from his former school.
I wonder if his recruiting pitch is "they're gonna hate you like they did me"

It's his job and he is doing what he gets paid to do. He will be gone as soon as Sark gets canned then perhaps some of you can move on.

IMO, it's more to do with NIL than his recruiting prowess.
They've gotten a few over the years, but nothing says BH has been killing it in Louisiana.

If that's his pitch and that recruit buys it without, say, looking at BH's performance at LSU and UNC..........then that recruit probably isn't LSU material.

I don't think Harris is worried about anything that happened at LSU.
It's hard enough entering this profession and having staying power.
It's no different than Nolan Cain at Texas A&M. As diehard LSU as Cain is, to get where he wants to go in this profession he needs experience outside of LSU and he knew that especially if he wants to be a head coach one day.

They probably are negatively recruiting LSU, I just don't see how it could be effective in any way for Harris to use his experience at LSU under a guy that got fired 7 years ago.

Are you angry that LSU coach Robert Steeples, who played at Missouri, has been instrumental in recruiting Missouri kids to LSU? Including Mekhi Wingo who he coached in high school and recruited as a transfer from the Missouri football team.

I mean he was unquestionably the worst quarterback LSU has had see a meaningful amount of snaps since the Hallman era. It’s not hate, it’s just a fact.
Even TJ Finley had a few nice moments and he also was running for his life while O had completely checked out.

it's been posted dozens of times ... Brandon is the Director of Recruiting at Texas. He's been there 4 1/2 years. Even turned down the asst. QB coach position with the LA Rams under McVay.

Terry Joseph is their lead guy in LA, and was on Brian Kelly’s staff at ND, too.
