Not sure where Ricks ends up but I’m not going to cry over a player who changed his mind in the last hour due to money.
I will however celebrate and be excited for the players coming in to the program who want to play for LSU and represent the team, and who didn’t change their mind in the 11th hour.

I think it's hilarious that people let Nick talk all kinds of shite about Jimbo, then those same people aren't going to bring up the fact that he's doing the exact same thing.

This "recruitment" is an object lesson that should be quite familiar to LSU by now. Logic says that there is either a gross misrepresentation by the recruit or some eleventh hour deal-making that causes the change. Either way it is dirty pool.

Ricks is very talented, but he’s also going to be a high school senior playing in an SEC program because he reclassified. He’s not going to be ready to play day one. He wouldn’t have been here either, as much as some of you don’t accept that. He would have played more and sooner here, but he’s going to need time to get his body ready to play at this level.
We could have used a guy like him ready to step in as the guy the next year, but Harris is no consolation prize. He has experience and multiple years to play. If we can bring in another CB who is ready to play day one, then we are still in good shape to bring in more depth in next year’s class.

Even before NIL, this has always been the correct statement. Players that want to compete and play for LSU will get drafted. NIL money shouldn't matter that much considering they're playing the long game for MILLIONS.

Yeah, signing day he said Austin wasn’t signing for a long time. He signed with Oregon a couple hours later. He said Ricks was in and Bama was out. On signing day he said Ricks was in. Signed with Bama. He’s got us as the favorite for Harbour and nobody else does. Plus he’s never visited.
