In an effort for some slight positivity in the joint. I'll "flip" the script with a post of favorite last minute commitments.

For me, to polish off one of my favorite recruiting classes of all time.

K'Lavon Chaisson 2017 signing day commit!!!!

Damnit Nola you took my pick. My first thought was Chaisson on Signing Day.

I’ll change my pick to Jacob Phillips. #1 ILB in America.

Some of the Tigers greatest gifts were the ones that didn’t sign like McGuffey.

Am I missing where he didn’t end up being a baller?

Pretty sure Llyod Cushenberry was a signing day flip. He was the rock of that 2019 OL

Perkins, Nabers, Jamarr chase, Terrace Marshall, Justin Jefferson, Cushenberry, Devin White, Fournette, Jamal Adams, Debo Jones.

All guys that committed on signing day or the week or so leading up to it.

People forget Nabers was Mississippi State's highest ranked offensive recruit and Bugg Strong was their highest ranked defensive recruit. We took both on signing day

Has to be Harvey Williams. Was going to sign with the Aggies on signing day at his high school. On the way to do so, heard someone humming the Aggie War Hymn. Pissed him off and he chose LSU at the table.

Maybe not last day but at the end and off our radar:

Brandon Lafell
Jamal Adams.

Didn't Jamal Adams commit at the all star game during the 5 for 5 fiasco?

Yeah maybe. Everybody was melting about Hootie Jones and Jamal stepped in. Maybe not last day but kind of out of nowhere and he went on the GOAT short list. Hootie probably has a mobile detailing business where he offers 10% to people with big script "A"'s on their car.

The Harvey Williams story is crazy and from what I read Sam Montgomery was completely out of nowhere but lesser-known drama was Rueben Randle who simply was not going to play with the WR who ended up at Southern Miss, I think. It was an all day tug-o-war. Keiland Williams was a 5* RB who actually did not sign - took like another 1-2 days for paperwork to come in (check was lost in the mail or something…)
