No Quarterback had ever recovered in 9 months and been 100 percent and played with no loss of mobility ever.

Taysom hill had a lisfranc in the week 17 in January of 22’ and ran for 81yds & a tuddy in GM1 vs Atl in September of 2022 the next season

And played in all 16gm and probably had the best year of his career

Of course if you followed Hill’s career, he also had a lisfranc on his other foot in college in 2015. 11years later is still playing football

You have absolutely no clue about any of this.

The true status of his recovery is unknown, but that still makes it a risk.

And what are we supposed to do in 2026 while Leavitt is injured?

I mean, he’s QB 1 in the portal but that injury is no joke

As a PT for 19 years I will be SHOCKED if we only bring in Leavitt as a starting caliber qb off that injury into a new regime.

It’s an extremely valid question. Your line of thinking is closer to “retarded” than the one you responded to.

Peanut gallery, here.

Doesn't one believe LSU, much less any other serious suitor, has done their due diligence on this young man?

Lisfranc has ended many careers

I am not a Lisfranc expert like Underteaux and SEC Doctor but here is some basic research from ProFootballDoc's twitter page. When searching Lisfranc, none of these guys had their foot cut off or career ended:

Travis Etienne (2021)
Nakobe Dean (2023)
Andrew Thomas LT (2024)
Tyler Linderbaum (2022)
Taysom Hill (2022)
Najee Harris (2022)
Cam Newton(2019)
Derek Stingley (2021)
JOey Bose (2018)
Parris Campbell (2023)

honestly have yet to come across 1 player in which their career was directly ended. Im tired of looking

And what does “basic research” say is the average recovery time for football players?
Fans are worried about taking a dual threat qb coming off a foot injury. This is not a wild take. Lol
