Cooper Manning, the father of No. 1 2023 recruit Arch Manning, told 247Sports that a report his son has narrowed down his list of schools to just two is false. In fact, his list has gotten bigger.

Manning is now considering both UF and LSU after the programs went under a regime change, according to 247Sports. This is an addition to his list that includes Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss and Texas. The only school that Manning has visited that he is no longer considering is Clemson.

This is called a courtesy visit.

Don’t get your hopes up.

Disagree - you have a chance if you get a kid and family on campus.

Polian and Kelly have recruited him really well so far, and I don't think Arch is going to be playing games.

I think the professionalism of CBK gives you a chance that you didn't previously have. Rah Rah Rah was not going to impress the Mannings.

If nothing else, I'd have to believe that the Mannings at least respect the way BK is running the program so far. Remains to be seen whether it will be enough, but I think BK taking over won't hurt at all.

He wouldn’t sit two years behind Walker. This will never happen.

But he’ll go sit behind Ewers at Texas and Vandagriff at UGA?

Didn’t Texas just hire David Cutcliffe as an analyst? If so that’s game over.

The lack of intelligence and detachment from reality on this site never ceases to amaze me. This is not a courtesy visit. This is a visit from a HS kid who is doing what anyone in his shoes would do -- exploring places that he thinks he'd like to be at for the next 2, 3 or 4 years. For all those with short memories, both he and the family were routine visitors during the Joe Brady slingathon, back when people thought this program was on to something. Then came the two bleak years of Captain Caveman, where, lets admit, anyone with half a brain would have steered clear from. The dust has now settled, an adult is in charge, and the kid wants to take a look. Nothing more, nothing less. I doubt he ends up at LSU, but maybe, just mabye, this is just what it is.

We have much better chance than many on here think. LONG time to go.New staff doing really good job. If staff stays intact, should be top 3 yearly prior to NIL. When our fellow boosters get our shite together, and NCAA gets their shite together (somewhat equal NIL playing field) FUN YEARS COMING.

I don’t think he’ll end up at LSU but BK definitely gives LSU a chance. O had zero chance to get him

Very unlikely that boosters/NIL will play much of a role in Arch's decision

I really like the other QBs in Louisiana more than Manning. Just saw Kelly has a relationship with the 5 star QB in Michigan when he was coaching at ND. I'd 100% rather we push for him than Arch.

Must be getting hate on the twitter machine from the Louisiana folks, trying to squash the heat a little

Not for him directly but it is now needed to build a team around him.
