Saban is producing starting QBs in the league

You mean the one QB that’s actually somewhat decent and isn’t constantly under threat of being cut?

No but Saban is doing great at developing QBs........

We know the Mannings care a lot about the QB coach (as evidence by their Cutcliffe history) which is what really gives Texas/Sarkisian a chance. Monken and O'Brien won't even be around for Arch. And for all his strengths, Kirby is pretty much the opposite of who a QB should entrust their career to.

Archie Manning's grandson is not coming to LSU. No way, no how.

Sounds like a way to boost NIL deals for Arch Manning.

Was he the kid in "Book on Manning" that said his favorite team was LSU when asked by Archie at the end of the show? I am pretty sure it was one of Cooper's kids.

Archie seemed taken back by his answer and said "Well, we" need to work on that". It was pretty funny.

Saban has put two starting QB into the league, and Tua sucks. Maybe you can give him some credit for Hurts, but I think Lincoln Riley deserves the majority of the credit in that case. And Hurts isn’t very good either. Neither will ever challenge for a super bowl. They both can’t play from the pocket and throw the ball down the field when the defense knows they have to.

Edit: forgot about Mac Jones. I’ll give saban credit for him. So 2 guys throughout his tenure.

This is just his family keeping the in state hate press off of him at the moment. The chance of him attending LSU is still 0.

He is going to Texas. NIL will get him 5 million before he ever throws a pass.

Which is why I believe LSU added back to his list and why I dont think Florida has much of a chance. I think Texas is the only other school other than LSU that has a truly devoted QB's coach. Hired LaTech's OC, Joe Sloan, to coach the QB's and Texas has AJ Milwee (who I've never heard of). For the most part, their OC doubles as the QB's coach as well.

I wish we couldn’t see as many Arch Manning threads, but they seem inevitable.

Ok this is for my fellow lsu fans who seem not to privy on football...exhibit #1 Alabama had tua come in for Jalen hurts who transfer to Oklahoma and was a Heisman finalist exhibit #2 Ohio St had Haskins and burrow and I forgot the qb before that...point I'm making is iron sharpens iron. Ppl ready to crown walker Howard and he hasn't played a snap..arch and lsu actually need each other if lsu is really going for dynasty and championships

Very unlikely that boosters/NIL will play much of a role in Arch's decision

1. As has been pointed out, NIL is very important to build the kind of team Arch is interested in. I don’t see Rice and SMU on his list.

2. Many posters on this board are confused about who owns money. Arch is most likely much poorer than the average Ranter. His father might be affluent. I don’t know, but if he is he didn’t get it from playing pro ball. Just because two of his uncles and his grandpa are rich doesn’t make him rich. Shaq said it best to his kids, “You aren’t rich. I’m rich.”

LSU is looking good because of avg competition at the QB position. He would ride the pine at UT or bama for 2 or 3 years, maybe even OM

You have lost your mind? Who told you that? Tgey lied to you. It’s going to be just as difficult to get on the field with Howard and Nuss

Stop with all the freaking manning hate, it’s complete bullshite.

This kid will good where he wants to go, and has always loved LSU. The biggest impediment is Howard but Texas just brought in a ringer too, but they still lead.

He will be first 10 million NIL guy no matter where he signs

Jimbo produced overrated first rounder after overrated first rounder because idiot scouts thought his QBs were that good because it was Jimbo. Ohio St's DBs are another overrated group that goes in the first round in bunches and almost always never produce even close to a first rounder.

Good take. Their replacements could put/keep them in play.
