We watched Archie take his talent out of state and LSU spank his arse. His sons then go out of state as well.
What? Archie is Mississippi born and bred. As for the sons, many seem to refuse to acknowledge the massive dumpster fire LSU was when they came out.
Depth chart and offensive stability will be the major determining factors imo. We'll find out about depth over the next couple of years. As far as stability goes, sustained success with an internal succession plan of Peetz, Mangas, and maybe Calloway(?) will go a long way to keep us in the game.

Everyone has this pegged so wrong. Realistically, arch probably isn’t coming to LSU—but that has nothing to do with any stupid family vendetta or Archie telling him he’s “not allowed”. It has to do with the fact that we’ve got a 5* QB in the class immediately preceding him. Like it or not, it’s damn near impossible to get 5* QBs in back to back classes. This is just how QB recruiting works in 2021.

LSU can still get all these guys though. All depends on the character of the QBs. If they are all like Brennan then LSU is in good shape.

How did Archie Manning take his talents out of state? He grew up in Drew, MS.

If we somehow manage to land arch manning, that would be a huge frick you to ole miss. I hope we do, but if we don't, we are still going to have a very talented qb group.

Ole Miss has to be considered a favorite because the Mannings are royalty there but Kiffin normally prefers a QB that can run as well as throw so who knows if Arch sees that as a good fit. I think Dabo is probably running 2nd for him with LSU, Georgia and Bama all vying for 3rd. If Walker Howard is as good as advertised it won’t matter though.

Walker Howard/Max Johnson/Nussmeier may make our efforts more complicated.
If goes elsewhere because we are in great shape at the QB position then I could live with that scenario.

Personally I do not believe a Manning will end up at LSU, just not happening. The sun will rise in the Eastern sky, in any event.

Anyone who thinks an ole miss vs LSU rivalry has any factor in this don’t know the Manning’s. This will 100% be a business decision, first and foremost.

He's gonna want to play day 1 and we can't promise him that.
He will not be coming to LSU. Not even close.
It's Tennessee if they can fix their mess (debatable) or Ole Miss (very likely, he has an offensive mind as head coach).

no, he grew up in Louisiana and people say he grew up an LSU fan it seems. LSU is probably the favorite right now and come signing day. But there is also Eli Holstein. He is also in the 2023 mix and it would be hard to pull two top tier QB's like that in the same class. Plus we already have 5 star Walker Howard in the 2022 class. Plus with Nuss already on campus. Just might be to crowded a QB room. Good problem to have though considering how things use to be at the QB position. But we have a good shot at Arch.

Actually saw Eli this morning wearing a Texas A&M jacket...didn’t get a look at his socks though...

His younger sibling plays soccer with my kid in Zachary. Was sitting 15 feet from him.
