Who are potentials to really flip?
Real vs hope

All of them are in the table.

I think kids like Bussey are a pipe dream. Probably will take the biggest bag regardless of who the coach is. On the other hand I think players like Reliford who seemed to have a really good relationship with Jimbo have a better chance of flipping.

Yes Bussey and Miller will be here for A&M game. I know the main thing with Reilford is getting his parents to come down with him next time he visits.

I’m of the mindset that A&M will double down on their current roster and signing class to keep everything intact for the next coach. However, I can’t see that being enough as there will be defections from the current roster and signing class.

Agree, think it's going to be hard to pull them regardless the Jimbo firing helped but that may just mean A&M throws a bigger bag in an attempt to keep them.

We have a shot at 1 maybe 2 max.

Even though he fricked LSU, I’d take Jacoby back.

Kid didnt frick LSU he chose life changing money to go to a school for 3 years then bolt to the NFL to make more. In football with injuries nothing is certain. Cant fault the kid and not saying I wouldn't have done the same in his position and I LOVE LSU. Please come home Jacoby!

LSU takes care of their own. There have been plenty of talented LSU players that have had career ending injuries, only to have our Alumni network help them fulfill their dreams in endeavors beyond football.
I'm not even talking about the do-nothing sales positions where they make 150k a year and just take out clients, wear their SEC or National Championship rings.
Take Craig Loston for example. He had the worst turf toe I've ever seen. His big toe would swell up to the size of a friggin grapefruit. He got a little bit of run with Jacksonville as a free agent, but I don't think he was in the league long enough to get retirement benefits.
Nowadays, he runs a non-profit facility for youths with substance abuse and mental health issues and makes a real difference in the Houston community where he's from, and much of the backing for that came from our alumni network, and there's many, many other similar examples. If you ever go on their website, everything is in purple and gold.
Going to LSU is a 40 year decision, not a 4 year one. All these Louisiana guys would do well to come home, even if it is only for one year. We take care of our own.
ETA Loston's Facility is called Steps toward the Future. A shoutout is well deserved. I have so much respect for people who earnestly try to make their communities, and the world a better place.

We’d probably flip 4 easily if our staff wasn’t a mess on the defensive side. But we’ll come out with a few surely

Appreciate that information. That’s the kind of thing this board needs more of.

Awesome story about Loston, thanks for sharing. Sounds like “Russel Shepard’s cousin” is making a name for himself.

Looks like all of the “potential flips” are pissed off that Jimbo is fired. I think they all have been trolling for recruiting hype. I’d be shocked to see any of them flip to LSU.

Great story zen. I think that is hard to understand for a 17-18 year old when someone is throwing money in your face as well.

Maybe but there are going to be money guys at TAM that have to be looking at what they have been getting for their money and say enough is enough. Show me. We already paid for a recruiting class to be #1.

Do we need to have a [nearly] two-week go fund me for there to be sufficient dollars to match / exceed the potential A&M flips?
