Yep. We all know things can change. And that it has only become worse with NIL.

Put it this way. His first offer was in the eighth grade. Some coach from Miami named Blake Baker. And his parents were very excited. Has a great relationship with Corey Raymond. So I feel pretty good about keeping him.

That is the kind of commitments I love. No messing around, no trying to trick people, no pulling hats out from under the table. He just stood up and said LSU. No bullshite

No reason to think he will back out but you know how these things go. You know the other programs will double their efforts. Will likely have still fight for him till signing day.

I've been following LSU recruiting for over forty years lol. It's a lot easier now than back then having to read the sports page every day trying to get some nuggets here and there. The best class I can remember was when we signed whitworth, spears and company. Everyone was as excited then as they are now. But this class is shaping up to be better.
But the portal makes it harder to keep the class together. The one downer of that class was not getting brock Berlin. I watched most of his games at evangel and watched his state championship game against west Monroe and whitworth. Can't believe how he regressed in college. Was an outstanding highschool QB.
