My connected Texas buddy is saying that Texas is pushing real hard for this kid to flip. Anything we need to worry about or has anyone heard anything?

I know of a poster with a friend who is connected to Texas. His friend is saying that Texas is pushing real hard for Williams to flip. That's all I got.

I expect all the people whining about the DT position to be in this thread, & celebrating like never before.

Certainly good to see!

All schools, including LSU, don’t stop recruiting a kid just because he’s committed. It doesn’t even stop after signing day unfortunately.

They are staying in contact as they should but Bo has made him a priority.

The article was from the On3 Texas side about bEAST Texas and that they're not giving up on Zion. "He's a Texas kid" is what Nahlin and the Texas On3 side continue to say.

Only thing I can think is Ruffino was making an impassioned plea on Tuesday or Wednesday to LSU boosters and fans to start giving more or we won’t be able to compete with schools like “Texas” in this new era of football.

That's LSU's fault. The idiots at LSU can't seem to figure out the concept of crowd-sourcing. It's a very small amount of money from a hell of a lot people. LSU wants too much money from everyone. Plus, they charge a stupid transaction fee, I think $5, for every donation, which stops people from giving.

Any one of us should be able to give whatever amount we choose. If 100,000 LSU fans can only give $1 a month, then ******* take it! That's $100,000 a month which equals $1,200,000 a year in new donations. Unfortunately, that's not good enough for LSU or it's simply too complicated for them to understand.

We all use our debit cards all day long and we don't get charged a $5 fee every time we use it. A $5 transaction fee is just dumb, greedy, punitive, and ineffective when asking for donations.

Another thought I had was boosters must realize LSU wasn’t winning anything this year. These people are generally smart and can see the roster isn’t at championship level. I say push our chips in more when we feel like it’s a year or two window we can make a run.

Your Thoughts are shite. Should they just quit playing the rest of the season?

Damn! I watched parts of the game earlier against John Tyler on YouTube live and I had no idea that #96 was him! He was huge and impressive! The biggest player on the field!

A. It's a Captain Crown thread, and his threads are do damn good that sometimes they need to get stickied again.

B. Not much recruiting news lately, and it's sweeps week for sports websites.

C. Last night the admins had a soiree, and, as usual, they got to drinking. TigerFred bet RummelTiger that over 100 posters would freak out if he stickied this thread again. Obviously, RummelTiger is going to clean up on this bet. (TigerFred is a horrible gambler but refuses to seek help.)

TigerFred: If you or someone you know in Texas may have a gambling problem, help is available.
