Buras? As in Plaq? That area is the hardest hit area. Its really rough.

Water is 12-13 feet above Hwy 23 in Buras right now. Total devastation

Reports of MAJOR devastation to Fourchon and Grand Isle coming in. Dozens of homes have collapsed in Grand Isle.

We heard anything from the major of GI? He was in trouble for awhile. Just want to make sure he is okay.

Complete, utter, and total devastation.Not trying to be humorous.

Them, Plaq, and Grand Isle has gotten the brunt of this thing thus far.

WWL is what I'm listening to. And btw it got worse, fireworks going on out there. Transformers are blowing left and right.

WWL TV was supposedly interviewing a guy in Plaq parish. Stuck in his attic with an 18 month old. Poor child. I am so mad at the father. What an idiot

Thanks for the response and I you can fill me in on a little more please do. I have family down there from golden meadow to Thibodaux so any heads up is deeply appreciated. Some of these members I've lost contact with.

If you guys want to come north, I have two open spare bedrooms.

By the looks of things though, we are going to get some rain out of this thing towards the end of the week. Much needed here
