Isaac REALLY doesn't want to come to Louisiana.

This storm is so crazy. All weather is somewhat of an unexpected and difficult thing to forcast, but this storm takes the cake for my recent memory.
It's like Isaac's eye can see every time it's about to cross the LA mainland and decides to keep on skimming the Gulf. Like it's tracing an outline of the LA coastline. Really fascinating stuff.
But the realistic impact of this thing is devastating to our coastline. Like someone said, not many deaths to be had, but it will destroy peoples property as in homes and belongings but also the physical land itself. Cities like Grande Isle, Houma, Morgan City are getting F'ed!
As for BR, none of this is good news in the least. We are just getting more of the NE quadrant. And this thing stalling just means more and more rain.
I'll be damned if this thing screws with my football weekend, and the more I watch, the more I get worried that we will not get to play on Saturday.

Juan was on the fricking cuervo. What was the one that went up the east coast turned around came back and hit texas of louisiana. Was that Carla or Betsy?

I was actually going to post just this... its like Isaac is literally a kid tracing the coastline.

well used to before my inlaws got a generator.
I've seen two people on Facebook talking about "Assholes running their loud generator late at night" I told one of them he was just jealous he was doing his status update by candlelight while I was on a desktop.
Generators are loud though, I'm literally the only house lit up. I plan to turn it off in an hour or two, but I have it and I'm going to use it.

For the first time I'm starting to worry about the LSU game on Saturday. This stupid hurricane was supposed to be out of here by noon tomorrow. The longer it hangs around, the more downed trees and power lines in baton rouge. Every hour it stalls brings the 7:00 Saturday kickoff more in doubt.
I always thought it was a bit optimistic to expect the game to come off. LSU probably won't be affected that much, but tens of thousands of extra people is not something BR will need to be dealing with on Saturday.

I'm not so sure quite yet. I know LSU put several companies on notice saying campus HAD to be ready by Friday no matter what... but I could see a Monday kick off

pretty much how i have been feeling for 2 days. so many people were making fun of this thing, but most live in br and dont have to worry about the coast where people are getting fricked right now.
