The GFS has this sitting off the coast longer than WDSU's 1130 tmr morning prophecy.

Any reported flooding yet in Nola from our TD reporters?

Generators are loud though, I'm literally the only house lit up. I plan to turn it off in an hour or two, but I have it and I'm going to use it.

I wouldn't think it would be all that audible over the storm, but I guess we are pretty close to each other here.

Wasn't there a hurricane years ago that crossed the southern tip of Florida into the Gulf, then changed its mind and went back across mid Florida and into the Atlantic?

My parents have a large generator because they need one. They are in their mid-70s and not in the best health. Gustav also did them in. They still have power right now. And they probably won't run it tonight. But during the day if it's hot, they will be running it. Sorry.

I know...

Nuts. But remember the GFS called this like 2 days ago.

I would watch the model VERY closely.

Isaac is making a political statement on our lack of commitment to fighting coastal erosion

In the last few frames of the radar loop I'm looking at it almost looks like it is moving southEAST.

I wouldn't say flooding, but water is definitely starting to build up in low areas here in Lakeview
