I'm starting to think there is something wrong with the NWS and their updates. The storm is obviously NOT moving NW at 8 mph. Why do they keep saying this? They are probably messing up the wind reports too.

Saw that on the O-T board, but so far that is all I've been able to find. Didn't know if anyone had talked to someone they personally knew--although I don't even know how that would work in these circumstances. Do cell phones still work? Or is it just radio communication?
