I haven’t seen anything. I even camped out one night last weekend with my pellet gun but I didn’t see a thing.

I’ve got the same kind of damage/holes in my yard.

I sort of thought I heard an armadillo the other night, snortin, or grunting. Never saw him. I was shining my q beam all over. Nothing.

I'd say an armadillo, just got rid of one myself.

The first hole looks like an armadillo and the 2nd 2 look like moles to me.

I've got something going on in my lawn as well. My st aug is really thick so you can't tell with the eye, but walking around, there are 4” diameter sink holes all over the place, probably a hundred in my front yard only. I push mow it and legit almost turn an ankle stepping in them sometimes.

Can someone give me some advice on what this may be? OP, sorry to hijack.

Could be old, rotten tree roots. I’ve had some in my yard. I dig out the area until I find stable dirt. Then I put some pea gravel in the hole, usually a bag or 2 depending on the hole. Then the last 6-10” or so I topped off with the dirt I dug out.

I have some similar holes in my yard. I've seen a rabbit in the exact area the holes are in. That's all I've got.

You appear to have two different kinds of holes: some burrows on the small side that are likely toads, snakes, or voles/field mice/rats, and some broader areas of dug up turf (likely cause by armadillo). An armadillo burrow is pretty big (ie, big enough to fit an armadillo).
