Clover has taken over my yard this year more than recent years. Best solution to get rid of it?

Patience
Heat will kill it eventually

If you can put down nitrogen it will help kill it off. It thrives in low N situation

MSM Turf will knock it clean out, for cheap.

Atrizine before it hits 90F will knock it out good... but yeah, that stuff has taken over my back yard this year... low N, poor drainage, and the clover will run wild

I fertilized and sprayed the yard with 2-4,d and atrazine and still have a few patches popping up. The kids love the flowers though

VBW will replace the clover once we get settled into the heat of summer.

It's providing Nitrogen to your soil and is a pollinator. Why would you want to kill it?

2-4-D will kill it.
But when you kill it, you'll have big brown patches with nothing else in your yard. Did that myself this year. Not a biggie except that the dogs love digging in bare dirt.

People need to understand the extreme satisfaction that a weedless lawn gives to lawn nerds.

2-4-D, read the label. Typically 1 oz per gallon will knock it out. Worked well for my yard.

Your grass needs nitrogen if you have a clover or lespedeza issue. Start there.

Scott's Triple Action Turf Builder at Home Depot works great! Just did mine!

It will die out for the summer in a month. I just mow mine until it disappears for the summer.
