ETA: For St. Augustine and Centipede. Don’t use on Bermuda. So, never mind.

I missed that part.

Would be fine as long as Bermuda is dormant, but switching out the Atrazine for Simazine would be safer.

Yeah, the Weed Free Zone is listed as safe for Bermuda.

Forgive me. Waiting on the coffee to brew.

Should I should combine simazine, fertilome, and speaker sticker ? Is there any weed this won’t take care of? I see some crab grass, Virginia buttonweed, and dallis grass too.

You can can mix the Simazine, Ferilome weed-free-zone and surfactant but you you need to use only 0.8 fluid oz of Simazine (not 8.6 fluid oz) b/c the Simazine/Princep is 42% active ingredient compared to the Atrazine which is 4% active ingredient.

Should be effective on Virginia buttonweed and crabgrass, but not Dallisweed. Crabgrass is why I prefer Dimension over Prodiamine as a pre-emergent as it has post-emergent control of young crabgrass up to the 3-leaf stage, if by chance one misses the application window for Prodiamine. Dallisgrass read this LINK

Going to spray my neighbors centipede/Bermuda mix today for weeds and preemergent. Can I mix the simazine, three way, and prodiamine all in one tank?

Check the soil temp map. As soon as 5 day average hits 55°, you need to out down pre em. LINK that day was about a week ago.

I’ve not used the spray version of Prodiamine so I don’t know, read the label on the prodiamine and see if it mentions mixing with other chemicals. Perhaps Gamecocks22 can weigh in as I believe he is a professional in such matters.

Yes. This is a great tank mix and I do it often. Shake well.

Took me awhile, as I've been out spraying all day.

Is the winter weed cocktail for spot treatment or safe for entire lawn? I have centipede.

Not sure which cocktail you're referring to, but anything I have said is safe would be safe to spray on the entire yard.

See the “Lawn Weed Licker” photo at the top of this page (p. 6). There is a retail plant nursery in Baton Rouge, Cleggs, that refers to this herbicide mixture as a “Cleggs winter weed cocktail”, and i was using that term in earlier posts in regards to that mixture. I guess different retailers that sell the herbicides and provide that mixture formulation recommendation to their retail customers like to coin their own name for it.

Went there today and bought the cocktail then applied it to the yard. Thanks for the advice in this thread. It's been helpful.

Apparently I can't figure out how to post a picture anymore. Anyway...

I put out granular pre-emergent on Friday, watered about 45mins on Friday and Saturday, and now we just got a shite ton of rain.

Am I screwed or probably ok?

You’ll be okay as long as you didn’t have a running river through your yard.
