Who has the best push mower?

Also going to need a weedeater, edger, and blower.

Been using gas powered. This still the way to go? How are these new battery powered pieces?

How large is your yard? If it's under 1/3rd acre, I would go for the battery operated ego. I've had mine now for seven years, lawnmower, weedeater, and edger, and have never had an issue. Always works, battery is always charged and ready to go. Cuts and edges the grass just right

It’s about 1/4 of an acre. I’d want stowaway options too.

My Toro push mower and echo weed eater have been fantastic. Both are going on close to 10 years of trouble free work

Greenworks 60v series

If you can wait a couple weeks until their Memorial Day sale you'll be glad you waited

1/4 acre I would go electric and not look back. Throw in a reel mower for good measure.

The electric stuff makes it easier to do more often. Gas is better when you have to tame wilderness. Same concept as cars - predictable commutes are great for EVs…everything else, gas has the advantage.

the kings forest ain’t what it used to be. As the others said, go electric. The EGO chain saw, pole saw and string trimmer I have are rock solid. Get one 18V battery and the rapid charger

I’ll have some higher brush just off my property line that I’d want to keep clean.

Lawn crews would keep that area clean to an extent, id just hit it more regularly.

Still go with electric?

That greenworks looks nice. Can you get that at Lowe’s?

Tractor Supply and WalMart. I'd go with their web site directly. That way in case you ever need customer service they'll have your purchase records...just easier.

Remember these mowers don't have gas engines and are much easier to push. Don't waste your money on self propelled.

Ive got about a 1/4 acre too. I've had the Ryobi 40V platform for pushmower, trimmer and blower and the 18v for edger, hedgetrimmer, etc...

All have been great for 8+ years now. No complaints.

STIHL head w/ STIHL attachments (edger, weed-eater, blower). Pop in and off and good to go

I have the Stihl Kombi setup, very solid even with the KM-56RC (residential-grade) head. The straight-shaft edger attachment is worth the extra $. Echo PB-255LN, Honda HRN...probably be a long time before I need new equipment.

I purchased the 7amp EGO push mower a little over a month ago and have been very happy with it. It's so quiet I can mow anytime without having to worry about upsetting my neighbors. It cuts great and you have the option to capture the grass clippings, mulch them, or have them dispensed out the side of the mower.

I used to have a Honda. It died, and I needed to get something else. I opted for an Ego - and was initially very skeptical, but it’s been great.
