Don't have a need for one, but those are some crazy discounts. The engine on a couple of them is probably worth more than the price after discount.

Just looked up the engine on this one, and it goes for $300+ from what I see.

Things I did not have near my mind 5 min ago: buying a tiller

Things I just did: convinced myself to buy a tiller!

Which one?

This would be for a small garden and working in flower beds.

What’s the daily rental rate on a tiller? Like $60? Kinda makes more sense to buy one then if you plan on using it more than once i guess

Great deals, but have no use to own one. Whenever I need one every few years, I just rent it from Home Depot.

HD definitely fire-sales tillers every so often. I picked up a TB Bronco 14" CRT version for under $80 a few years ago. Didn't have a need for a tiller but at that price I got it just on principle.

Just ordered the Champion tiller with a total price of $195 and change out the door. Should be in store in about 2 weeks for pick-up.

I currently have a REAL old 5 HP Craftsman tiller that has seen better days a decade ago and an older model front time tiller at that. The Champion is a definite upgrade over what I currently have.

Thanks OP for the heads up.

Anyone recommend the Champion or the Legend Force tiller. They are about the same price.

All you can do is read the reviews by users of these tillers and go from there is how I feel about it.

That said, as far as I'm concerned, the Cadillac of home garden tillers is Troy-Bilt, but what they get for those is cost prohibitive for most people.
