Cheapest and easiest way to lay pavers?

I'm not a DIY or outdoors guy but I'm way too cheap to pay someone $200 a month to cut the grass. But I also hate doing it myself (seem to be allergic to everything out there).

I feel like If I lay pavers down in the majority of my backyard it would both look good and lessen my yardwork.

Is this viable for someone who's not really that handy? Is there any skill to it or anything?

commit to even numbers and square angles and it’s relatively easy. Knowing the installed dimensions of your pavers, set your edge forms (2x4’s) so the the pavers course out without cutting. Prep the surface as even and level as you can. Lay the pavers per recommended spacing using string across the forms to keep straight. water them in and spend a couple days walking on them. Spread sand as grout with a push broom. Pull the edge forms

I had pavers around a house I owned. In the back, side, driveway. I would not want them again, shite always growing up through the seams.

Have you actually looked at the price of pavers yet?

To be honest, and not trying to be rude, you don’t seem like the type of person that could tackle a big paver project.

Look up some YouTube videos because if you don't know what you're doing it'll likely look like shite.

I am a DIY guy and I did my patio and it was gruelling work. Not saying I would not do it again but I have a much better understanding of what to expect in time and energy spent.

Just read a thread above this one about a guy having trouble setting his pavers. It can be a nightmare to tackle this if you aren’t familiar.

Not saying don’t try, but it can be physically exhausting and frustrating

Brush in polymeric sand and seal and you don't have that problem.

Yeah I spent 3 afternoons trying to get it right. Screeding and rescreeding over and over. Some of the pavers move a lot and I don't care anymore. I just laid them and am going to live with it.
