Live in bham area and I have so much CB. I sprayed it with 3 different things that claim to kill it and it just laughs at it. I was way too late with my preemergent last year or had an ineffective one.
What should I get as a preeminent and when should I apply it?
Outside of kudzoo, CB may be the biggest scurge of yards and gardens.

I pull most of it that pops up in my garden beds. Isn't preen supposed to keep it away?

I was late re-treating my yard with Celsius a couple months ago and both CB and VBW own my shite now after the rainy season stopped me from applying another treatment.
I'm now in the same boat as you and hoping Celsius will do its job.

pre emergent is the best option and yes preen is the recommended product. As it pops up in your beds it’s imperative to remove it before it goes to seed. I pull it every single day from somewhere
Don’t use preen in any beds you plan on sprouting desirable seeds obviously

I just can't control the damn sparge. I keep spraying it and it pops up somewhere else.

it has blown up for me this year...never seen it near this bad...been pulling almost daily
