Besides palm trees, what is the next best thing that won't cause a mess with a pool?

I just cut down 2 crape myrtles this weekend that way I won't have to worry about all the flowers and leaves.

None! Or make sure they do not drop their leaves, ever!

NONE!

I hate leaves in the pool... we have two large live oaks that don't even overhang the pool and it is a nightmare.

No trees. Ida took out the remaining tree in my back yard and it’s been nice not worrying about leaves in the pool.

Watch the palm trees too. Depending on the type of palm you have, some will drop dates where others will drop TONS of small seeds. They are not as pool friendly as you would think.

I like the Christmas and Queen palms.

I did look at the non fruit bearing olive trees.

But I’m definitely trying to avoid leaves/seeds//fruit in the pool. We just started with the pool.

This is the best answer. Fixing to wrap up my new build with a pool...only a garden near. The closest tree is 80-100ft away which is still too close.

Agree with the others that say none. I don't have a single tree in my backyard, yet my pool was full of leaves today because of the wind.

Closest tree line is 100ft away and still get a lot of leaves. Our polaris robot takes care of them though.

I have six hollies around my pool. They hardly drop leaves and are perfect for shade.
