I change it up every few months because I get bored and haven't found anything that blows me away yet.

My current routine is 4x8 weighted chin ups, 3x8 incline dumbbell curls, 3x8 concentration curls, 3x8 reverse EZ bar curls, and then finish off with a straight bar curl superset.

I need to be doing more. Powerlifters are notorious for not doing biceps.

You would never be caught dead doing curls as a powerlifter!!!!

Joking aside, this is perfect for the powerlifter because it doesn’t take away from more imprtant activities (i.e., deads and squats) beacuse it is short and brutal just like we like it.

5x8 superset lying tricep extensions then jump up and curl same weight. Your arms shoud be spent after that.

Maybe throw in some heavy standing dumbell curls on another day.

that is all you need if you do it right.

Since I hit back on a different day, I usually go with... 3 of the following;

Standing Barbell Curls
DB Curls
Preacher Curls
Seated Machine Curls
Cable Curls

Ring bicep curls
Australian chin-ups (bar)
Back Lever Pulls
Belly button drag curls

I have my own gym so I do them in the squat rack lol

For real though, I bet it would help a lot of injuries powerlifters get

This is a famous [edit spelling] exercise for "economy of motion" and boredom; as, it hits biceps, but also sculpts your deltoids at the same time:

holy overkill batman!!!

just hit weighted chins and then heavy barbell or ez bar curls for 3-5 sets. Key is to progress in weight or reps every workout just like the other lifts.

frick your boredom. consistent progress is the key.

pullups, chinups, rows, and pulldowns.

I rarely, if ever, do isolated bicep work and they look just fine.

Grab a 45lb plate on each side and curl it.

That would be the same as doing hammer curls.

The angle is different and plate curls is where I actually saw progress. Superset with hammer curls at the end of a workout.

For years I avoided bicep work a la "curls are for girls" and stuck with the main lifts - until I realized how underdeveloped they were and how much more prone to injury I was.
