There are walking paths around the mall, Women’s Hospital and Woodlawn Middle.

LSU lakes is the best imo. You can adjust your route up through the Garden District and Hundred Oaks and get as many miles as you need.

Highland Rd Park is good to get some trail type running but it's not a long loop.

LSU lakes is the only place I run when I visit BR. It’s a really nice run IMO

No, I was asking about Plank Rd. I’ve never been to BR in my life.

If you run too slow, you will get mugged.

And if you run down Plank Rd, you won't have a chance to visit anywhere else

The levee is paved from downtown to Lauberge. That’s 13 miles each way.

Ward Creek greenway starts near top golf and is almost 2 miles long if you cross the bridge to run along the grove apartments.

Comite Park Trail on Hooper Road is about a 5.5 mile loop if you don't mind trail running.

There are some trails behind the Pennington Bio Research Center. There's a trailhead of sorts off of Quail Drive by WLF Headquarters or you could park at the park on Kenilworth. There's also a loop around the lake behind the med center. Walden Neighborhood is nearby and it's a pretty place to run with an actual hill.

The levee gets boring for me if I go between LSU and Lauberge. I will sometimes park at the LSU vet school and run the levee to downtown and around the capitol.
