What do you guys do to treat your hand calluses?

Had a few rip today. They are not pretty and I’m just looking forward to hearing my wife complain about it.

Get a corn remover from CVS/Walgreens and trim them every 7-10 days.

I also have a sand bar which I use daily at the callus line.

I manually rip off any loose parts and use some hand lotion to keep the edges from getting really choppy.

I don't really feel myself without some thick, bulletproof calluses, though.

pumice stone during shower. Let hands get soft then rub it against the stone

I had trimmed them all getting ready for Wodapalooza last Jan. I thought I was ready to go until I ripped 3x in the first real workout of the weekend.

Gorilla glue and wod & done saved me the other 8 events

I need to be in the sweet spot. Thick enough to not tear easily, not out of control where it will catch and rip.

file them with an emery board and wear Wodies (or a version of them). I have only ripped once in the last 3 years and it's b/c I didn't have my wodies.

I honestly don't do anything. I peel at them when they get too big and then start anew.

Deadlift with no straps or chalk. Takes care of any calluses with the quickness.

Well yesterday was a bunch of T2B and today was deadlifts and pullups. Lesson learned to keep them trimmed.

Don't do anything with 'em. You never know when you'll find a gal that digs them.

True story: I was going through TSA a while back and a girl working (not bad looking, considering she was a TSA worker, but wouldn't turn heads out of that setting) grabbed me out of line for a random residue screening. She turns my hands over to swab my palms and quite literally gasps. Proceeds to rub a finger over my calluses, compliments them, and says something along the lines of "you must like to get out". While she's doing her business with the residue swab she is talking to me about how I got them (the calluses) and what I like to do etc. When she's done, she grabs my hand again and says "I would love to get me some hands like this" then sends me off. This broad had a MAD callus fetish.

So...that's my callus story. Do what you want with that information.
