I am having one done Monday morning. What is the procedure like and how long is the recovery? I have heard horror stories to its very easy.

Dentist says if I have it done Monday morning, I can go to the parade Monday night?

Might be sore for a day or two. That's it.

I have only had one done and when you need it done you will gladly have it done to end the discomfort.

I had no real issues other than being a bit nervous about the procedure----all for naught in the end.

Not sure why root canal has such a stigma out there

You’re numbed up anyway so you don’t feel what they’re doing

Some ibuprofen and you’ll be good to go once they get the real crown on there .

So if I do this tomorrow morning 8 am, I'm good to go watch the parade for 3 hours tomorrow night starting around 5pm?

Not saying you’ll be 100% that quickly but you’ll be feeling much better than when you’re in need of having the root canal done in the first place

You bet. After A couple of beers and a pain killer try not to get runover by a float.

Seriously. You should not have any issues.

Make sure he gets them all or you'll be right be there when it flares up.

Had a few done recently. Numbed up, zero pain during or after. Left dentist office and went right back to work.

As stated, I dont know why they have the stigma. I was fairly nervous but had been in such pain, there was nothing that could happen that would match the pain I had been in the night before.

Have had one. Absolutely painless although not fun to look at the tools they’re using. Was on an international flight 5 hours later.

I cracked a tooth on a piece of bone and had to have one. My dad had me so nervous I almost didn’t go.

It’s nothing like it use to be for older people I guess, the worst part is all the guards and stuff they put in your mouth
