I’m far from an adolescent with ADHD so I think a little bit of red dye that I get won’t bother me at all.
Except for an 8 ounce cup of coffee pre-PT I am 100% carnivore.
Good luck to you and let us know how it goes

I'd have to find the studies I read on the topic a while back, but long story short the positive effects of oral finasteride can be obtained for the large majority of men with near 0% chance of side effects by taking 1mg M/W/F.
1mg daily is often the minimum prescribed dose for hair loss but that was shown to have minimal to no hair loss benefits over 1mg thrice weekly for many or most men and clinically significant vs. clinically insignificant risk of side effects.

It potentially has other negative.affects. And.I get why it may be in cherry cola but a tablet? There is no reason for that.

Supporting these findings, other researchers have demonstrated that Red 40 consumption (equivalent to the Acceptable Daily Intake of 7 mg/kg/day in humans) for 10 months leads to dysbiosis and low-grade colonic inflammation in the distal colon of mice. There was also an increase in a signaling protein called Interleukin-6 that is involved in inflammation and inducible nitric oxide synthase in the colon, a marker for inflammation.

Do you have 3 grand and some airline miles?
Nieces husband was getting thin on top, went to Turkey. Took good hair off the back of his head and put it on top. Looks good.
Think there, procedure, back was 4 days.

7 mg/kg/day
It being that it is last on the ingredients list I don’t think there’s near about .595 g in six tablets.
I’ve been taking it for a while now and haven’t noticed any side effects.
Dyes are quite the attention grabber therefore an easy target for criticism. There are much worse things that people do every day.
I’ll take my chances.
I really like having all of my hair.

I thought about it and actually looked into it, but mainly for shits and giggles. I’ve heard that the flights from turkey to America are full of men with wraps on their head after just getting the surgery.

Pretty odd, the ingredients are almost all just vitamins

I take a one daily pill with minoxidil/finasteride because I was starting to notice some loss and wanted to get ahead of it. Fast forward to 7 months later and I definitely have more/thicker hair. It's reversed both the receding hairline and thinning on the crown. I was nervous because of the finasteride side effects mentioned in this thread, but I haven't had any of those issues thankfully. I was fully prepared to toss the pills the first time I had a limp dick but I think I'm in the clear at this point.

Other than wanting to see if this works for anyone else besides me and the three other people that I know who take it and have had good results, I really don’t care if you or anybody else takes it. I have no skin in the game.
However, I’m wondering what you find odd about vitamins.
You may have missed the list of 18 amino acids that are listed on the side panel

When did you start to really see results if you mind me asking? Im close to a year of using the topical spray and feel I have only regressed. I have read that it can take a year or more to really start to see a difference.

Well point taken. I'm in pretty bad shape on the back of my head. It's very thin. I've been on Hims Spray on for a year or so now. I don't see any improvement. But may just be holding the line. I'm gonna order some and let y'all know how it works for me. Fingers crossed.

I have been on Happy Head (dutasteride) topical liquids for 10 months. I have noticed quite a bit of new hair growth on the crown and rear of my head, but almost no new growth on my receding hairline. I'm still happy with the results because if it didn't work, I had fully planned to shave my head.
My aunt that had really bad thinning of her hair started taking AG Pro. She has seen plenty of new full length growth. I started taking this a week ago, so the jury is still out if my receding hair line will get improved or not. My Aunt swears by it, and that's all she takes. I'm hoping the combination of AG Pro & Happy Head will be the magic trick to help my hairline.
As for the guys that say just shave your head, there is something that makes you feel more of a man when you have a full head of hair. I'll keep trying until I absolutely have to shave it. Plus I haven't had any side effects of anything I have taken so far.

I was prescribed and have no side effects. It can decrease your sex drive but if it does you just get off of it. Pretty simple.
Also have a red light hat that I put on when I get in bed at night that runs for 7 minutes. It stimulates regrowth. Red light is getting really popular for benefits in numerous areas. The hat was like 2K at the doctors office but I found a brand new one on ebay for $350. Brand is Capillus.
Doing both of those in two years my hair thickened up drastically.
My hair thinning didn't bother me at all and when I go bald I wont care. But the finasteride is like $20 for 90 days worth and the cap was a one time purchase. Took very little effort to keep my hair fairly thick.
It does take about 6-12 months to start seeing results, you just have to stick with it.

What does red light do?
Posted on 10/17/25 at 12:56 pm to AllbyMyRelf
It's basically low level laser therapy. It stimulated the blood cells and dormant hair follicles for regrowth. Covers your whole head/scalp so it's helping growth all over.
On the website it's pictures with a baseball cap look like you could wear the thing in public. That's kind of laughable. It's like a bowl that fits on your head and has a power cord running from it. You cannot wear this is public
I just took the baseball hat part off since I'm doing it at my house. You'd look like an idiot trying to do it anywhere else other than in private. But again, it's only 7 minutes so it's super easy.
By just doing those two things the doctor showed before and after photos after two years and it was pretty shocking. After one year the before and after was some nice results but the main growth comes between years 1-2. So you have to stick with it.

To be fair, I started with oral for about 3 months and ran out. About a month after that I started the topical. Took about another 3 months before really noticing it was growing back in. Since cortisol levels play a role, it could also be a measure of lifestyle change, having switched from being really stressed out at work to mostly consulting since. Added some biotin gummies to the hair loss “stack” but quit those too. 39yo here, started the stuff about 4yrs ago.

I mean... you could. Get you a little portable generator on wheels and pull it around with you. Like some old people do with their oxygen tanks.
